Hoshiarpur/Daljeet Ajnoha/April 16 : Under the ambitious scheme of Punjab Government “Punjab Shiksha Kranti” with the aim of improving the education sector and strengthening the infrastructure, Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Jai Krishan Singh Rouri inaugurated development works done in various government schools at a cost of Rs 24.94 lakh in Garhshankar Assembly constituency today.
The Deputy Speaker specially attended the inauguration of the development works and said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is working with full commitment to strengthen and modernize the education system. He said that “Punjab Shiksha Kranti” is not just a scheme, but it is a strong foundation for the future of the state i.e. the bright tomorrow of the students. During this, he inaugurated new classrooms in PM Shri Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Mahilpur, construction of boundary wall in Government Primary School, Khabra, new classrooms in Government Primary School, Lallian, new classrooms in Government Primary School, Souli Inaugurated boundary wall and new classrooms in Govt. Elementary School, Kot.
Deputy Speaker Rouri said that better learning environment motivates students and enhances their talent. He called upon the local people to also participate in this education revolution and motivate children to study in government schools. He also assured that more schools in Garhshankar area will be equipped with modern facilities under “Punjab Education Revolution”.
